WHY NO AUDIT?
Our firm believes in the audit function, but we also believe that our value added services would reduce the value of an audit to the client by creating a conflict of interest. This position has also been taken by the Securities Exchange Commission.
NO COMMISSIONS
Recently, The State of New Mexico made it legal for CPAs to collect commissions in such areas as the sale of insurances, stocks, and other financial instruments.
Again, our firm believes this would create a potential conflict of interest regarding our services. For this reason, Stephen A. Avery, CPA will not accept commissions.
